Tanzania Mental Health Summit 2025
Delegates Program
π Empowering Young People and Women to Lead the Mental Health Agenda in Tanzania
Mental health is a critical, yet often neglected, component of Tanzania's national development. As the burden of mental health disorders rises across Sub-Saharan Africa, youth and women remain disproportionately vulnerable due to persistent social, economic, and policy-related barriers.
Thatβs why WAYDS, under the banner of the Tanzania Mental Health Summit 2025, is proud to launch a three-year Delegates Program β an immersive experience designed to equip young changemakers (ages 18β35) with the tools, training, and platform needed to become national leaders in mental health advocacy.
